Message From Audrey Hovis!

Hello, I am Audrey Hovis, Head of School for Lincoln Christian Academy, home of the Warriors! Lincoln Christian Academy will proudly open our doors in the Fall of 2023. To say that we are excited and blessed is an understatement! We have hit the ground running with the guidance of God and the wisdom from our elders to bring to you the very best Christian School experience for your kindergartner, 1st grader, and 2nd grade students!

About Lincoln Christian Academy

Established in 2023 as a ministry of Covenant Church in Lincolnton, NC. Lincoln Christian Academy is approved as an educational institution as defined by the North Carolina Constitution, the North Carolina General Statutes, and the Rules and Regulations adopted by the State Board of Education of North Carolina and serves students in Kindergarten through Grade 4.

Lincoln Christian Academy holds that education is designed to meet the needs of the total student. Our program will help the student grow and develop emotionally, intellectually, socially, physically, and spiritually. Our desire is that each student will develop an eagerness and love for learning.

Kristie Dellinger

Kindergarten Teacher Assistant

Hi, I am Krisite Dellinger. I am a Lincoln County native and have been married for 23 years with two children. I have over 20 years of experience working with children. My experience started with preschool ages, progressing up to Kindergarten. I am one of the kindergarten teacher assistants and love working with children. I am so excited to serve at LCA and to help grow our children spiritually and academically.

Rachel Overkamp

Kindergarten Teacher Assistant

I am very excited to begin my first year at LCA as a kindergarten TA! I have been married to my high school sweetheart Eric for almost 22 years. I have 3 boys Evan, Hunter, and Elijah. I have 2 puppies Maggie and Daisy Mae and a cat Malachi. I love to go camping with my family. I can’t wait to see God move this year in the lives of the students and teachers.

Heather Reynolds

Administrative Assistant

Hello, I am Heather Reynolds and I am beyond excited to start our 2nd year at Lincoln Christian Academy with our new and returning students and their families.
A little bit about me, I moved from California to the Carolinas 12 years ago, which is where I met my husband, and now we have 2 daughters (5 and 4 years old). My favorite thing is going to the beach with my family and friends.
I am beyond blessed to be a part of the LCA team and look forward to what God has in store for the 2024-2025 school year. Go, Warriors!

Mrs. Alicia Porter

First-Third Teacher Assistant

Hey! I’m Alicia Porter, and I will be one of the teacher assistants at Lincoln Christian Academy. I have been married for 13 years and have 2 children. For the last year, I have been subbing and assisting at both Covenant Preschool and Lincoln Charter School. Previously, I was a stay at home Mom and Aunt.
After many prayers, I accepted an offer to serve at LCA. I am so excited about this new journey and can’t wait to meet all of the students, as well as, their families! I look forward to watching the students flourish spiritually and academically! God Bless and Go LCA Warriors!

Penny Ervin

Before and After School Care

Hi, I am Penny Ervin. I am so blessed to be with LCA. I have been a stay-at-home mom for 23 years. I have been an assistant teacher and subbed for Covenant Preschool for the last few years. I have 3 grown children, 1 daughter-in-love, and 3 precious grandchildren. My heart is full. I'm so excited to be the Before School Care and After School Care teacher. I'm looking forward to getting to know the children and watching them grow while we play, laugh, and learn!

Deputy S.D. Rhyne

S.R.O.

Hello, I’m Deputy S.D. Rhyne and I will be your S.R.O. for Lincoln Christian Acadamy. I am a lifelong resident of Gaston County where I graduated from North Gaston High School in 2000. I started my career in Law Enforcment as an Animal Control Officer after High School. I graduated from Gaston College BLET program in 2016 and worked for Gaston County Sheriff’s Office where I started off in Detention, then K-9 division. I later came over to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office as a Court Bailiff and now as an S.R.O. I am also on the Sheriff’s Office Drone Team and Crowd Management Team. I am currently in the U.S. Army Reserves and have been for over 20 years. I am a Sergeant First Class (SFC) with two MOS fields, one as a 12-B Combat Engineer and as a 38-B Civil Affairs Team Sgt. I have deployed overseas four time in my career, two times to Afghanistan, one to Germany, and one to Bahrain. My qualifications including Air Assault Badge, Airborne Badge, Combat Action Badge, Combat Lifesaver, Water Survival Master Trainer, and Navy Coxswain Badge. To the Administration, Faculty, Parents, and Students, please feel free to come to me with any questions and/or concerns, I am here for you. I’m blessed that God has given me this opportunity to mentor, encourage, and to share my knowledge and experiences with Lincoln County’s future generation. GO WARRIORS!!
